Mission Pet Health is the name Southern Veterinary Partners and Mission Veterinary Partners took on together in July 2025, after the two formally merged late in 2024. Southern Veterinary Partners had been building since 2014, and the combined company is run from Birmingham, Alabama, with Dr. Jay Price as CEO. Care still runs through local clinics, and the training side includes the company's own veterinary technician school, specialty training, and mentorship programs.
Mission Pet Health's clinics hire veterinarians, vet techs and assistants, hospital managers, receptionists, and kennel techs and groomers, with field leadership and a home office in Birmingham above them.
