This position is located at the Travis AFB Veterinary Treatment Facility. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.
- Serves as a recognized subject matter expert and leader in veterinary medical care, providing comprehensive and high-quality animal health services to support the animal health mission readiness and public health of the military community.
- Planning and execution of advanced veterinary medical care, complex diagnostics, surgery, and treatment planning, demonstrating expertise in a broad range of domestic animals and medical conditions.
- Develops, implements, and evaluates comprehensive veterinary medical programs, including preventive medicine, disease surveillance, and public health initiatives.
- Provide technical supervision and mentorship to a team of veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and support staff at large installations.
- Advises and collaborates with management team on all aspects of veterinary medical operations, including budget management, resource allocation, facility maintenance, and manpower management.
